NOTICE TO ALL FUTURE BUILDERS AND CONTRACTORS
IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS
OF HALE COUNTY

FLOOD PLAIN PERMITS:

Builders and contractors must obtain a flood plain application before construction begins.  A flood plain permit is required under FEMA which regulates the flood plain program.  Failure to obtain the permit will result in fines and penalties.

SEPTIC SYSTEMS:

All septic systems being installed are required to have an application which is to be purchased by the property owner and is to be installed by a licensed installer.

BURN BAN:

There are conditions and requirements for burning while a burn ban is in effect. See the information here.
